CRIME IN THIS CITY IS OUT OF CONTROL. COUNCILMEMBER SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME ON THINKING ON WAYS OF COMBATING THESE CRIMES, INSTEAD THEY SPENT OUR MONEY ON TRAVELING TRIPS "CONFERENCES'

I thought they were looking for ways, that's why they are proposing cuts which include layoffs.

With a $180,000.00 dls. plus/plus @ year city manager. I am hoping the community requires him to spend more time in Lynwood during the days City Hall is closed from Thrursday nights trough Sundays.
Because our elected officilas are on "Paid Vacations" most of the time they just show up for the meetings and go back on the road and don't care what happens in Lynwood.

$180K is not a lot for a city manager, especially coming to a city with so many problems. You're right though he and the members of the council should spend more time engaging the public, and letting us know what they are doing? What did they learn at the last conference they attended? Did they bring home the bacon?
