Lynwood, CA - Arnoldo Beltran, who has been highly criticized for his excesive billing to the Ctiy, was fired as city attorney by a 4-1 vote of the City Council.

Roger Haley is Paul Richards' godson. It's incredible to me that the councilmembers want more of the same corruption.
Good that he was let go...he was bleeding the city dry. He was billing the city up to 100,000 a month. The new City Attorney has a monthly cap on legal fees.
I suggest two campaign slogans:
1. ANYBODY BUT AIDE (ABA) and
2. ANYBODY BUT SOLACHE (ABS)
The first for the City and the latter for the Board, of course. I hope it catches on so we don't end up with either one of this unscrupulous individuals.
Anthony Willoughby is no gem either. According to a search on the California State Bar site (see http://members.calbar.ca.gov/search/member_detail.aspx?x=137503),
he was publicly reproved by the State Bar in 1995, and had specific duties to fulfill as part of his discipline.

Beltran will now help fund the recall even more. He, Billy Martinez, Kudler are the ones that will fund Aide's campaign. After all there is something to be gained with having that idiot Aide on Council.
How do you know Roger Haley is Paul Richards' god son? So what does this mean? Autra Adams is Richards' god daughter, then the new City Manager the god son? Plus, other family members working for the City? So Lynwood then is still being runned by Paul Richards.

Former Newark mayor pleads not guilty to corruption charges!!!
Former Newark Mayor Sharpe James pleaded not guilty Monday to federal corruption charges that he courted women using city money and engaged in property fraud.
James, 71, is accused of charging more than $58,000 on city-issued credit cards for trips for himself and several female companions, according to an indictment.
In recent years, he allegedly charged vacations to places such as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and the Dominican Republic, where he attended major sporting events, test drove exotic cars and ate at fine restaurants.
"The allegations in this indictment are stark examples of the greed and arrogance of unchecked power," said U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie. "He chose to cheat the people of Newark and the citizens of New Jersey."

Aide's not going to be a issue after November. The community is not going to vote for pervie's cousin. And IF she does get in, the feds and DA's office will be watching her daily. They already are watching her. The package of her $40 grand gift from Pervie has been turned over to the feds more than a year ago. Made toooo many enemies.
