do you guys know what is the requirement to become a candidate? does it require government experience to run a city like lynwood??? does require high school? college, university. does require to be white, black, yelloy, hispanic? tall, short, fat, skinny. blonde, brunnette, male, female, gay, lesbian? does require to be living in lywnood, cerritos, compton, buena park? does require to be receiving bribes, funds, mula, pesos donations from interested groups.
if you know the requirenments please let us know. i want to run for the november election. of maybe after you know what the requirenments perhaps you want to run or else. Just curious

To the above comment, the requirement to run for office is that you reside in Lynwood, your an American citizen and a registered voter. That's it! Now do you see why this city is in trouble? Most of us won't even lower ourselves to run in this city. Just look at all the canidates. It's a joke! The circus has come to town.

Speaking of requirements, what are the campaign funding requirements? Let's say I'm a successful businessperson with enough income to fund my own campaign, would this be possible, or do you have to fundraise for a certain percentage? I might also not need to rely on a salary from the city of Lynwood, that is unless I need it to hire my own private security detail after all these corrupt feathers out here get rustled. What can I say? I'll gladly pass up bribes and hidden agendas for a chance to mess with a few corrupt pocketbooks.
