I am happy Linda Sanchez is thinking to help our student's in Lynwood. We need to help them as much as we can so they can have the opportunity to go to the University.

Yeah 1 million dollars for schools my children keep complaining that the school never has toilet paper. You can donate all the money you want but with all of the corruption who warranties that my children will have a cleaner and safer education?????? It starts from the principal at their school who will not see parents without an appointment while rummors are that she leaves school premises and is never around?????

What school are you talking about? there are many schools in Lynwood. Maybe if you're more specific the board members can do something about it.

YOU THINK LYNWOOD SCHOOL BOARD WILL DO SOMETHING??? I WILL LIKE TO TELL THE PARENT THAT COMPLAINT ABOUT THE CONDITION IN THE RESTROOMS....I WOULD NOT EVEN LET MY DOG USE A RESTROOMS IN THOSE NASTY SCHOOLS.... YOU WANT NAMES OKKKKKK.....MY NEIGHBOR WHO SPEAKS ONLY IN SPANISH APROACHED THE PRINCIPAL AT LUGO ELEMENTARY FOR AN ISSUE AT THE SCHOOL AND HER RESPONSE WAS "I DONT SPEAK SPANISH" AND LEFT HER THERE.... NO PEOPLE SKILLS, NO REFERRAL.....AND WHAT MAKES ME UPSET IS THAT OUR MEXICAN CULTURE OR OUR STUPIDIY JUST LET US BOW OUR HEAD AND TAKE IT!........AND OUR "LATINO" BOARD ARE AFRAID, INTIMIDATED BY AFRICAN-AMERICAN.....
WE MIGHT NEED TO BOYCOTT AT THE SCHOOLS, CALL THE MEDIA AND DEMAND RESPECT, RESPECT FROM EVERYONE, BOARD, PRINCIPALS .............

I totally agree with the last comment, my children literally "hold it" until they get home. At Mark Twain the doors in the bathrooms have broken locks, no toilet paper and no paper towels for students. Oh, but go to the office and they have everything plus soap to wash your hands with. What does that tell you????

Is it the district or the pricipal?

The school board needs to do something, and dont try to tell me to go to another board meeting, just listen to the parents at the various schools here in Lynwood and you will find out what is wrong.

No wonder people are moving out of this city. It doesn't seem worth it to stay and try to raise children under these conditions.
