May he rest in peace.

Can you concentrate on political and publice service issues please?

Or you're going to say that Leticia Vasquez had something to do with this?

To the defender of Leticia or leticia herself, this is a political and public service issue:

Council members are not doing their job curtailing crime!

Crime is up (sherrifs stats) for the last 2 years, the council members who have been here for those years SHOULD BE ACOUNTABLE!

THEY SHOULD BE DOING THEIR JOB, NOT PREPARING CAMPAIGN TO RUN FOR STATE POST! WE ALREADY HAD THE FIRST LATINA IN CONGRESS!!

MAYBE WE CAN HAVE THE FIRST ANTI-LATINA IN CONGRESS!!

Thank You Lynwood Watch for informing in regards to the difficulty this city is enduring.

KEEP US INFORM ABOUT WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON IN LYNWOOD!

Instead of pointing fingers, point to solutions. That would be the real story here. Everybody can point out a problem but few are willing to work or think of solutions.

10:35 Crime is down in the the region, check your stats.

You remind me of how often Latinos are compared to the crabs in the bucket that pull the one trying to get out back down again.

Check the post with the council agenda on the lawyer fees.

The substance in that document come from her motions. Tell me who on the council is doing there job?

And what are you doing to make our community better?

Val

Crime and gang activity are a direct results of socio-economic factors. Poorer areas have the highest incidence of crime due to lack of employment, educational and other opportunities.

Our youth fall victims into the trap of gangs, usually because they often come from single parent homes. Another factor is the lack of proper role models.

Society's problems are a collective responsibility. The war against crime and gangs can only be won when parents, local governments and the community work together to eliminate the root causes of gang crime and violence.

We have to fill the voids in our young people's lives. Young men and women need: A sense of belonging and a sense of purpose. They also need to know that education is the only way to a better life.

When treat our young people with respect and make them our main priority, it is only then that we as parents, educators, elected officials, clergy, etc. would have done our job and will eradicate gangs forever.

Gangs are not a policing problem, they are a social symptom, which needs to be prevented, because it is not easily cured.

Lynwood Crime: In 2003, the number of murders and homicides was 15.

NUMBER OF HOMICIDES IN 2004

Compton: 39
Lynwood: 18
South Gate: 9
Downey: 0

Stop the blame game, and come together to fix the problem.

Become involved, attend city council meetings!

I don't know who you are, but preach on. It's about time that people with real opinions are posting on this blog.

Everyone has real opinions!!! Do you mean substance?

Learn to write. Did you go to Lynwood High? Are you in Lynwood High?

shut up Leticia. I forgot to use spell check, per your request.

Very simple. Because I know it's you Leticia. Nothing you do or say will stop the recall. I guess I was a moron for thinking you would actually be good for our community. However you showed your true intentions quickly. You are just another spoiled brat who cries, every time she doesn't get her way. Your name came up several times during Paul's trial and you know you are just as corrupt as him. Even Alfreddie has seen your true intentions. It's good to know he won't be your boy toy puppett.

I'm not Leticia, but because of the position of influence I do hold will not real my idenitity.

Ms. Vazquez will soon represent you in the State Assembly, because people like me believe in her.

You are just rambling with no proof or substance.

ELLA NO ME REPRESENTARA A MI....ELLA ESTA EN LA AREA DONDE LA MAYORIA SOMOS LATINOS, NO SOLO COMPTON VOTA
Y LOS LATINOS RECORDAREMOS TODAS LAS CACHETADAS QUE NOS DIO!

Por favor... con menos DRAMA!

Let's vote on merit, not on envy and hate. This why we always end up with screwed representation.

Doesn't anyone remember the 3 year old little girl that was killed at Taco Bell a couple of years
ago? The following day of the murder, Taco Bell didn't even close buisness out of respect for the poor young mother.Anyone who has never been in a gang, shouldn't try to speak of solutions. You haven't a clue. It has nothing to do with having a single parent!!!Your so cli che'. Until you get gang members thereselves to tell their stories of living in a city that is goverened by crooks! Of course were mad and violent,if a person makes one mistake you end up paying for it for a lifetime. Society dosn't forget felonies,so
even the people who learned there lesson still haven't a chance in hell.We can't depend on law enforcement, so we create our own.One that enforces
the laws in the neighborhood. You won't give us a second chance so we must take our chance by any means. Usually by selling drugs, guns, and our souls. All this, just to make a living. You council people sit up there pointing your fingers down at us, while all the time theiving our city and selling your souls on a higher level. How is the prostitute on Long Beach Blvd. any different from you Letcia. You both do whatever it takes to get you high. Or how is Estavan Ortiz any different than councilman pervert Pedroza? Their both sex addicts.I could go on and on but you all know the story of how cute young black man and his mentor ripped this city off for millions. And Mr. Johnson, I was speaking with some old friends from the eighties that told me they had done a couple of burgluries with you ,back in the day. So see, none of you are any different than the shit that plagues our city everyday.Your all a bunch of hipocrits.Family values? You must be kidding. How about marring that guy you drag around Maria? Make him a honest man. So , before you socalled leaders want a change ,maybe you should start with yourselves!!!!!!

WOOOW! YOU SAID IT RIGHT!!

I WOULD NEVER FORGET THIS IMAGE:

LETICIA ON THE FINAL DAY OF THE VERDICT WHEN THEY FOUND THE THIEF GUILTY (PAUL RICHARDS) SHE HUGS HIM AND STARTS CRYING, WEEEPING ok....... WHAT A HIPOCRITE THAT WANTED TO CLEAN CITY HALL...

AND YOU WONDER WHY WE DONT LIKE YOU.....SADLY I VOTED FOR YOU, BUT NOW THE PEOPLE IN THE STATE WILL KNOW THE CONNECTION YOU HAD/HAVE WITH THAT PIECE OF TRASH THAT STOLE FROM ALL OF US

I SAY HAVE BECAUSE BYRD IS SAVING A LOT OF THE CASH HIDDEN......HE MIGHT USE IT RUN AWAY, JUST LIKE O.J. BUT RICHARDS IS MORE ASTUTE AND HE WILL GET AWAY

WOW, was anybody at the Blockwatch meting tonight. I witness the Mayors attempt to clear her name about the recall. But when I heard the sincerity of lady Ortiz speak, I believed her. I am convinced that there is a lot of information and facts that we don’t know about the Mayor. I will be signing the petition for the recall and contacting lady Ortiz.
