This video describes our Lynwood Community to a tee and the various players in some way shape or form. What a shame.

maybe they are talking about the mariscos in Long Beach\Tenaya.

This is exactly how Santillan Rodriguez and Pederoza got elected. What a shame! Oh they forgot to mention El Faro, El Farallon, and many others. Let's not forget that our former Mayor Arturo Reyes is the "accountant" to them all.

Enrique Martinez has worked in the mentioned cities. Being the greedy man he is makes you wonder how much money he's received from these drug lords.

Didn't they just open up a Multi-Million dollar restaurant at Plaza Mexico?

*-*cough*-*

First of all Alex or whoever uses this name to take up blog SPACE is an ASS. Secondly Mexico is a drug tainted country. So what does one expect? Lynwood did not used to be like this. When Mexico moves north this is what happens. The only hope for Lynwood, and the rest of California is that the socio-economic metamorphis reverses it's self and a more responsible lot is left in charge!

The USA is NOT a "drug tainted" country as well?

I really should watch the news more often because I didn't realize that the "responsible lot" has turned the other 49 states into utopia.

Thank you for enlightening me!

AND why are YOU still in California? You must be one of the "responsible lot" that is changing the state.

So that's how us Mexicans are buying up all the homes in California! DRUGS! Damn, I didnt get that memo...To think, I was still paying for my five properties, vacations, and new cars with hard work and my own (legit) business!

I am going to complain to my local Mexican drug sellers union for telling me!

THANK YOU so much for showing me the easy way!

and one more thing...

Hey Carlos, Something strike a nerve? Who then is responsible? Until the powers that be, first recognize what is happening and then accept their part in it, nothing will change. Nice retort to what anonymous wrote, but what he/she said is true, and what you said is inane. Good for you and your assests, but you are the one with all the JACK/pesos, what are you doing living in Lynwood? It is not that there are utopians elsewhere, it is what has happened to our city. How can you deny that?

Anonymous said...

What Am I doing living in Lynwood?

What kind of stupid ass comment is that?

Should all the good people in Lynwood leave?

I was raised here. Went to school here. My family is here. My friends are here. My kids go to school here. I started my businesses at home HERE!

Get this straight: There are many more good people in Lynwood than bad people. That's why I live here.

I don't give a damn how big or nice my house can be elsewhere. I didnt make those comments to show off. They were made to make a point about hard work. I only care that my family is happy and that I am close to my friends and relatives (and that I can get to Dodger Stadium in 15 minutes).

You two make it seem like Lynwood is the only place on the planet with problems!

You act like we live in the heart of south central. I live on a nice street with good neighbors. Why should I move?

You're godd dam right that idiot struck a nerve, making a blanket statement blaming us "drug dealing" Mexicans for all the corruption and lawlessness. I didnt know people like Paul Richards, Randy Cunnigham, Patrick Farrell and Alexander Schlegel and others are Mexican.

I guess I should check my facts, huh? Damn those Mexicans!

The only thing I am denying is that blanket statement blaming us for all the problems. (I suggest he stays ANONYMOUS)

I ain't going nowhere. I am choosing to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Gotta go...my pager is going off and I gotta make a delivery.

Carlos,
LYNWOOD RESIDENT

Before you get your pantys all wet, that one "ALEX" posting in response to 12:27 PM, November 12, 2006 was a JOKE!

I dont know who the hell that is or even care... it was a JOKE!

Carlos, You have lived here all your life, what 30,40, 50 yrs? And you don't think Lynwood has gone in the toilet? Get real.

Anonymous said...

What he is saying to all you hard headed mother fuckers is he's sticking around Lynwood because this is where his family is. Don't you idiots get it. Sometimes family is more important then luxury. Every city around here has dirty corrupt councilmembers. The only difference between Downey and Lynwood is that white councilmembers know the game better so they can cover it up better. Also being that the financial situation of Downey residents is much better then most in Lynwood. Poverty creates crime, but it doesn't meen you run away from it. We're supposed to try and make a difference. Our community is fucked up because we give up easily. That's exactly what Alfreddie and Leticia want us to do. Get tired and give up because the battle is to difficult. In my eyes that's being a coward. Leaving might be your option but not my mine.

Yeah! to the previous poster.
Fight, fight fight!

Tonight the school board will be passing a resolution in opposition to any schools being taken for this proposed project of the city council. Good job school board.

Anonymous said...

What good will that do?

Anonymous said...

We should have more people like CARLOS `here in Lynwood, and I agree with Carlos there are more good people here than bad ones. We need more people like Carlos to run our city. Stop blaming Mexicans, look at all the corruption in Compton and here RIchards, Byrd and now the "reverend".... and COPS HAVE HISTORY OF SELLING THEIR SOUL TO NARCOS ....THE PREVIOUS RESTAURANT ON MLK THAT GOT REJECTED AND APPROVED IT ON THE ABANDONED AREA O
F LYNWOOD USED *EL FARALLON) DRUG AND PRSTITUTION WERE OFFERED TO OUR "PROTECTORS" COPS.... THANK GOD FOR CARLOS AND PEOPLE LIKE MS. GARCIA THAT HAD THE BALLS TO FIGHT THEM............

This is one of the most insane "opinions" on gangs infiltrating local city councils, and police departments. If you will notice, the retired deputy never spoke of corruption in the LA Sheriff's Dept., but they have had more scandals than the all the local police departments combined.

Just look for where you see all the LA Sheriff's cars, and you'll find free food, coffee and who knows what else!

Anonymous said...

You might be right about that. But remember he stated he quit that department. All in all he's right. He descrived Lynwood politics to the tee. Know I know what Ricardo Sanchez meant about we had just elected drug dealers into office.

Anonymous said...

Rick Sanchez?

F#CK That Stupid ignorant sumovabich.

Why the hell did u have to bring up that MORON!? That was the worst elected in the history of the planet. That no good, paul richards a$$ licker!

Tell him I said it!

If you want to hear about scandals within the Sheriff's Department you should ask Armando Rea about his personal experienences.

Anonymous said...

FREE ARMANDO!

Anonymous said...

Armando Rea's personal experiences within the Sheriffs Department WERE THE SCANDALS. You must be kidding! What are you, related to Carlos?

Anonymous said...

Armando Rea is an obsolete cop who disgraced Downey, and was recently arrested for pointing gun at underage kids.

How about something more positive like English teacher Alan Sitomer being in the competition for NATIONAL teacher of the year. Read it in the LA Times.

yOU'RE IN the WRONG place.

Here... we are just a bunch of sorry ass losers, haters and plain 'ol people looking to blame our problems on everyone else.

Positive? HaHaHaHA

what does it matter? this city is only good for parties, sex, drugs, and cash!

And the problem is?

why is it that Lynwood did'nt begin to go down hill till we started electing Latinos from Latin American Countries. Lynwood was a place you could go for a walk at night, our schools were clean our parks were clean Lynwood was an all american city we had name brand stores now we have to go out of Lynwood to shop. Lynwood residents had pride in their city now all we have in gangs loud parties, garages with no bathrooms and ten people living in them, what happened to the law that the city counicl was going to clean up the mess. what happened to permit parking so people could park in front of their house and not two blocks away.

Illegal Immigration Linked To Crime

LINK: http://www.corruptionchronicles.com/2006/11/illegal_immigration_linked_to.html

The first prominent Hispanic to publicly speak out against illegal immigration is among the country’s leading gang experts with decades of evidence that illegal immigration is strongly associated with crime, violent gangs and drugs.

Richard Valdemar, a retired sergeant with the Lost Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who specialized in Hispanic gangs, draws from his 33-year career arresting aliens in a crime-infested portion of the Golden State that has become known as the nation’s illegal immigration capitol.

In a four-part series broadcast on an educational public affairs cable network, Valdemar, the grandson of poor Mexican migrants, says it’s his duty as a Hispanic to talk about this hot-button issue because he cannot be labeled a racist like so many others who have publicly opposed illegal immigration.

The veteran sergeant said numerous Southern California cities have already been infiltrated by Mexican drug cartels that often set up phony businesses and launder money. Not surprisingly, the cities include working class areas with large Hispanic populations such as Lynwood, Bell Gardens, South Gate and Huntington Park.

Municipalities protect the illegals, however, because American law enforcement officers are considered the villains while the migrants are portrayed as the victims. This is done through orders prohibiting officers to inquire about immigration status. Valdemar chastised an L.A. County Sheriff policy, similar to one in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) called Special Order 40, that prevents officers from reporting illegal aliens to federal immigration authorities.

In May Judicial Watch sued the LAPD over its sanctuary policy because it violates both California and federal law. A few months later the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) intervened with a motion to allow pro immigrant groups such as Los Jornaleros and Break the Cycle to oppose Judicial Watch’s lawsuit. It is still pending in a Los Angeles court.

Speaking of Drugs, whats going on with the Franco housing project on Fernwood? Is that ever going to get complete. It has been sitting dormant for over one year.

Anonymous said...

Ask his Clowncilmebers Santillan and Pedroza. Did you see Franco show up at Santillans Pozada. He filled her garage with toys and dressed as Santa! What's next? Ask them.

Anonymous said...

Don't forget that twat Aide Castro who is there with her hand out.

Anonymous said...

I did ask Aide. The toys were donated by United Families of Lynwood, who Aide is the director of. Franco joined the celebrations both at City Hall and Maria's Posada simply as Santa Claus. The money was raised by the firework stand United Families worked. The rest of the money was used and continues to be used for Senior services and youth scholarships. But like always their is always some idiot trying to start something. In this case you Alex. No one invited your dumb ass to the posada. We don't need or want anything from you. The community doesn't trust you. Go away........Far away. Go hustle someone else.

let us not blame everyone for the problems we create we vote these peole in because we look like them and then we don't like their decisions let us find out who they are and what they stand for before we go to the polls the people that complain are the problem and there is truth that there is a lot of drug money in Lynwood but also in other cities the only differance is that here the city is so small we know who the powerful drug lords are and we still make them our compadres so dont complain fix it
