The school district needs to post all the agendas on the internet. They only post the ones they want. They need to post their budget too. But they won't because they don't want us to see all the money they are wasting.

Lupe Rodriquez should be ashamed of herself for selling out our children for political purposes.

Was the vote 5-0 on the contract?

Dr Lal deserves a big pay raise. He runs a $270 million dollar a year business at LUSD and another quarter of a billion dollars in buildings have been built.
In the past three years over a billion dollars of California dollars have been spent in Lynwood between annual budgets and construction money. Very little of that cost Lynwood residents tax money. He brought all that California money to Lynwood for the School Board to spend as they want to.
Dr. Lal should be given a 5 year contract extension!

Unfortunately, LUSD is in these type of messes because the School Board allows them to happen! These members are not intelligent enough to figure out that Dr. Lal out-smarts, deceives, and lies to them and they don't even now it or too slow to figure it out. All the people Lal has brought to the district are no good! They destroy school/staff moral, incompetant, and they are destroying LUSD. The Board states they want what's best for LUSD, but don't listen to the 900+ teachers and dozens of parents who repeatedly complain about these people. Why does the Board protect Dr. Lal and let him hire his friends who are wrecking the district and stealing from the students? Soon, Dr. Lal will leave and LUSD will have to fix all the problems he created. And there will be no one to blame but the Board. THEY HAVE ALLOWED ALL THIS TO HAPPEN!! Board Members, listen to the employees, parents, and even our Assembly Member De La Torre (who is also concerned the direction of LUSD)and take charge of the district! Stop allowing Lal make you guys look like FOOLS!!!!!!!!!

It's a shame that " winning the superbowl" and "I'm here for the kids" are all we hear from LUSD top administrator, Dr. Lal. In essence, from the top down to his immediate subordinates, the school principals, there's a culture of intimidation that reflects on teachers's performance in the classroom. Teachers are consistently threatened and harassed by their supervisors in most cases. The politics and power struggles in a higher stratosphere are detrimental to the learning environment. And kids suffer. Teachers do not have a say as to what is the best for their classrooms. The curriculum, a size fits-it-all, is prepared by outside consultants. And teachers are to follow, or else...In conclusion, granting an attractive contract to Dr. Lal for the next couple of years does not guarantee "winning the superbowl". Ultimately, this game can only be won if the real players, the teachers, are empowered, not intimated.
