Vote no on the utility tax and yes to the fattys.
Did he ever pay back the money he owes the city? That's what really matters. This person and his wife gave lots of money to Santillan for her campaign.
city counil, if you want our vote in support of this UUT, then you better get rid of ALL Paul Richards cancer--Roger, Deborah, Autra, Perry, Lorry, and so on...you know who they are. These people do not want to change. Why do we continue to support our Latino leaders? Vote no on UUT and maybe then you will see what the Richards legacy leaves you with--worthless people wa8tn to retire.

A no vote to the Utility Users Tax is a City Hall losing a lot of employees through lay offs. The City is too much in the hole not to allow the U.U.T. not to pass.

Maria Santillan's speech saying that the city will face its responsibilities, is just a promise. The promise will never be fulfilled; just remember how she promised to pay the $ 5,000.00 she borrowed from Arturo Reyes and never lived to do so. Corruption also comes by stealing from the residents through when asking for loans and never pay; corruption also comes by doing nothing and still acepting salaries.

Hey Sylvia, they are pressing your buttons, and obviously, you are falling for it. What else could be expected from a weak and ignorant mind? When you say "I fear NOTHING!!!!!!", you are either in denial, or you really don't fear "nothing", in which case, you are vulnerable my dear, and that my dear, will make you fall, and I'll be there to spit on your face.
We all know Sillicone Santillan is a BIG liar and a MORON! She lies about everything. She is not responsible for term limits. And let's not forget, if term limits pass it does not apply to her. Oh and her stupid comments that she made about the longer you are in office the more corrupt you become is an example of her own view of being an elected. I agree vote for term limits and get rid if her corruption. She is nothing but a fake and a fraud. Her corruption will continue at Lynwood Halll. The district attorney is investigating her as we speak. She should pay bask the 85,000 she stole from the people to pay the attorney she hired. She should also turn herself in to the authoritites.
Sillicone Santillan's so called speech was a big flop. First off she needs to work on her speech deilvery. No doubt that we have another high school drop out on the council! She cliams she and the council are gonna hold the city manager accountable for brining in money in to the city. What an idiot. She is only preparing to fire Roger then blame him for not doing anything. We all know this council is doing nothing. They are never seen at city hall and are collecting one of the highest council salries in southeast cities. They are getting ready to use city funds to campaign for the Utility User Tax and that is illegal! Call and write to the district attorney to stop the corruption in Lynwood!

Few people have the guts to stand for something, Sylvia is just working for what she believes in and goes out there and do it.
Even if she gets criticized whether for free or for pay is not the case, no one works for free in this world, the city of Lynwood will face some hardship if the UUT is rejected by the Lynwood Voters, and only the Voters.
They claim that the seniors are EXEMP from UUT taxes well only if they know and apply for the exemption, there requirements that need to be met b-4 they get the benefit.
In the mean time all city contracts are in FULL force and I mean FULL force the so called 4.2 Million in cuts are yet to be seen, for the Mayor Santillan to claim savings at this magnitude there will have to be massive laid offs, freezing all kind of Travel, Conferences and more.
On the last meeting a Consultant got his $36,000.00 a year contract renewed was (before $5000.00 @ month) to do nothing is the same one that was supposed to get money to build the New Ham Park and after tens of thousands of dollars nothing, no results but yet one more year of Milking the Cow “The Lynwood Cow”.
I can mention tow contracts that amount to over half of million dollars, for duplicating work that could be done by Lynwood employees, just to mention some. Now all you haters of people doing something that will probably benefits you ass need to be very informed and do something eather in favor or against but do something and stop bitching.

The UUT was illegal when implemented. It should be repealed, but just be aware the incompetent counsil, will now be trying to work their magic, with less monies. Layoffs will occur, services will be cut,(recreation, and senior events).
Maria the Moron is using city funds to campaign for the UUT. Say No to the UUT and No to the corruption.
Fact:Taxes are not legal unless they are approved by the voters! The city of Pomona is being sued for that very reason and Lynwood's lawsuit was next. The next lawsuit against Lynwood is a restraining order against Maria the Moron and her circus clan for using public money to campaign for the UUT. Coming soon!

Reyes gave up and pleaded guilty. With an exchange to testify against former council PEDROZA,BYRD, SANCHEZ,AND REA
So Rea and Sanchez are not off the hook just yet.
Restitution is will be part of the deal, GOOd for Lynwood thanks to the DA.

Hey Sylvia, I thought you cared about Lynwood? Why are you walking AGAINST the UUT? What is it that you don't think the residents need? Can we do without the Senior Services, the Recreation Activities? The Sheriff Services? The Fire Department? Customer Service at City Hall? Parking Enforcement? Staff support to pay our bills? City Clerk Employees to look up your public information requests? A City Attorney to help us against corrupt politicians like we've had in the past? or to write the measure against term limits? Sounds to me like these are all very vital tools to help the city function.... I'm confused, why would you be against something that the city depends on to function? With everyone gone, who would you have to harrass? I've seen you enjoying the free meals at Bateman hall functions such as the Mayor's State of the City, the Commissioners Dinner, the Christmas Parade Buffet, seems to me like you are benefitting from city services. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face!

You know, if the council had proposed to lower the tax to 5%voters, would have run out and voted for it. Lowering it by 50% would have passed by a landslide!

The corruption has to stop. 9% is a joke. Cut it to 2-4% would be more fair. Those corrupt council took the money. It is all a scam.. The white former interim city manager explained to the former corrupt council that the city didnt have the money then. We dont have it now either. Times are lean...... He laid it all out for the council/mgt/public to see. HE WAS THE ONLY HONEST ONE. The blacks ran him out TOO!> Time will tell. Saving one UNFAIR tax will not turn around damage that has been done to this city for over 20 yrs. Alfredo Lopez needs to go too!. He LIES.
