Take the time, read the article, Lynwood, is once again referred to as a third world, central american country. Why do you think Mexico is such a political bano. Why do you think California, and other once great places in our country to live, are now being subjected to this Latino political mentality of greed, power, power and greed. Lynwood and the surrounding communites continue to spiral down this seemingly irreverable path. The only thing to do is move to Mexico, go down there, get their Country kick started for them, do all the things that need to be done to make it attractive for them to want to return,(legally of course), then watch them ruin all the hard work that has been done, then start the whole process over again, God help us........................

To the idiot who thinks it's the fault of the Mexicans. What is your excuse for Paul Richards? What is your excuse for George Bush? What is your excuse for Omar Bradley? WHat is your excuse for Richard Nixon? What is your excuse for Willie Brown? I can go on, but do I really need to? This is not a race issue. This is about bad corrupt leaders. And they come in all colors.

First of all this blogger did not the one that refered to Lynwood, as a third world country. The person that wrote the article about the Councilmembers, DID!! That does not negate the fact that Lynwood,(a new banana republic) has evolved into a third/fourth world country. Those of us that have Lynwood longevity can almost cite the exact date of this Cities dismise.......if you can't figure it out, start counting backwards, then you'll get it. In the end Ethnic origin, has nothing to do with it. It is about honesty and the desire to do what is best for this City. I would like to suggest, them that are welcome, them that ain't go to the end of the line at our port of entry, Ellis Island........do the right thing..

You are right, this country has enough corrupt politicians, but remember they are natural born AMERICANS and are corrupt in AMERICA. Are you trying to say just because they are corrupt it's o.k. for you to be corrupt too? We do not need you, (from south of the border)bring your corruption with you and f..k up our country. Take care of your own, and clean up your own mess. We handle ours. o

Before you have the right to form an opinion about this country, learn how to speak and write correct english.

Prision = Prison
Reffering = Refer
Contribuited = Contributed
Campaings = Campaigns
Maillers = Mailers
Finincing = Financing

You should be embarrassed.

Lord help us deal with these ignorant people who think they know what is going on in this country.

More pressing issues exist than correcting someone's spelling and making a joke out of it. Grow up and stop acting like adolescents. I hope that those of you who are leaving xenophobic and racist comments do not have children. It is sad that children in this community are still brought up in such a negative atmosphere.

And not much is gained through character attacks on politicians. The best thing we could do is take constructive action instead of blaming each other for our own problems. Those of you who are blinded by racism or illegal immigration will never understand the broader problems that are affecting Lynwood.

Anonymous said...

I, nor anyone should understand what "blinded by racism and illegal imigration" The biggest issue facing the U.S. at this time is Lynwood, California and the Country in general, sticking thier collective heads in the sand and trying to ignore the obvious problems caused by this ILLEGAL FLOW OF HUMANITY. So the only time the word BLIND should be used when referrring to this concern is toward the liberal politicians who condone/encourage this illegal act.

To the Blogger July 9, 2:17

No one is making fun of someone not knowing how to spell. This is very serious, nothing funny about that. Also no one is being blind to the racism in Lynwood and
illegal immigration. Most people have their eyes wide open, believe it or not. Just go any where in Lynwood and watch how you are treated if you are not of the latino persuasion. My self I'm pi..ed of if I'm addressed in spanish (I do speak the language)but we are in AMERICA why are you people determined to speak SPANISH, and you are so proud of it. It was forced on to you by the spaniards. This language is not your own.
It's not Mexican it's SPANISH.
The language people speak in Spain the country in Europe. Da

And on the subject of being xenophobic. Well, I'm sure the idiots who can't spell and speak do not know what this means.(being afraid of strangers and foreigners)
No one is afraid of anyone. Everything that is said on this blog about latinos in Lynwood is a fact. It has nothing to do with racism. It just so happend, you are the majority and you screw the City up. Face it.
By the way I do have children and they know how to speak, read and write correct english and spanish. I also teach them to stay away from ignorant people. Thats not racism thats looking out for my own.

When you stated, Lynwood has broader problems you were absolutely right.
Lynwood has to many of latinos living like they did south of the border, wanting everything decent people have worked hard for so many years, but don't want to assimilate. It's not racism it's a fact.

And by the way, your wording is off a little.
Broader problems that are affecting Lynwood. Hm,hm.
It should be:
Broader problems affecting Lynwood.
That is not meant to be racist, It's only a correction.

blah,blah, blah, boring!

Anonymous said...

"blah, blah, blah, boring", that is because YOU are an illegal alien, probable, one that has contributed to turning Lynwood, into the entry point for giving the state of Californis an enema.

Anonymous said...

This comment is not an attack on anything posted here specifically, but is just an observation.

I'm picking up a whole lot of finger-pointing to "possible," "probable," and "likely" problems leading to Lynwood's current condition. Occasionally there's someone here or there claiming "fact." So be it, these problems exist. What can we do? Spend taxpayer time, money, and energy towards creating a commission to investigate the problem like they do in Washington? I see a lot of that type of thinking going on.. a whole lot of "this is why Lynwood sucks.." I don't, however, see a whole lot of solutions being suggested.

Let me guess.. "That's what our leaders are for!" Maybe that's our downfall. We complain, yet we don't vote. We bash races, yet we don't mobilize to objectively educate our neighbors.

Also, inner city politicians love to use the race card.. it's an easy card to play mostly because the common voter learns of it through newspapers, and short segments on the tube. Both of those media types are easily discarded and forgotten. The only thing remembered is whatever is gossip-worthy. Mission accomplished.. journalism at its finest, huh?

Anonymous said...

I know how to solve the problem of Lynwood. Round up all illegals put them on buses and send them back across the border. That'l do it.
Make room.

By the way, I'm a natural born American you fool. If you can't see the next wave of Americans than YOU are living in the dark ages. Don't let your racisim blind you to the facts! Sooner or later you'll find yourself struggling to speak and read spanish just to use your ATM. So get a spanish dictionary before they are all sold out!!!!

To the blogger '8:29 PM, July 11, 2007' indicates they would 'make room' ....for what?
for dumb councilmembers?
for employees that take advantage?
for people that are racist?
for people that dont like to work hard?
for more people like you?

dont forget how this country first started.

It all started with TEXAS.
Now who is the Inmigrant here in Lynwood or the rest of the Western States.
Read History and teach your children to apriciate the multiculturalism they enjoy.

Oh boy did I touch a nerv? Oh well, how does the old saying go?
Where the shoe fits. Hope you idiots know what that means.

To the blogger July 13, 11:58

If it is so beautiful across the border why are you here? Go back.
But I guess you don't want to starve to death.
And by the way, I'm good looking.
One more thing, beter is spelled better.

To the blogger July 14, 8:15

I do speak read and write spanish, but we are in the good old U.S of A. why would I speak anything other then english?
I guess you spanish speaking, refuse to speak english people want to cut lawns, fix cars, and sell tamales out of carts for ever.
Are you to stupid to realize that english is the language of commerce. It's the language most civilized people in most countries speak as a second language because they know what it takes to make it. I can tell from what you have to say, you probably have not been anywhere but Lynwood and south of the border. Travel my friend, and you will be able to communicate in english with people way over in China, and every country in europe. etc., etc.

To the blogger July 14, 10:46

I agree with you, you were cheated.
Prove again you were to stupid to see it coming.

I don't hate, I'm not a racist.
I'm sorry that facts get you all so upset. Stop calling people racist because you don't want to hear the truth. You starting to sound more and more like the whining blacks.

Here's a history lesson... Last time I checked, when you conquer a country, nobody cares about the means.. once it's in stone then it's done. What are we going to do? Teach our kids to change history?

Now to modern times.. Thank God that we live in a world where it's really hard for a group of barbarians to gain strength and conquer large organized empires. I think Mr. Hussein was the last one that tried that.. how's he doing these days, anyway? The whole "this land was our land first" argument is a load of crap.. do any of you have the audacity to tell me that the indigenous tribes of the Americas, and the indigenous tribes of the African continent never fought their respective neighbors??? The Aztecs and the Mayas just appeared, huh? They didn't conquer, annihilate, or behead any other local tribes to take their land, huh? See why we should only talk in terms of NOW and not BACK THEN?

We're turning this into a race thing. We're not getting played by the white man, we're getting played by the man with all the money. That's where we fail. We're too busy picking at each other because that's all we're good at, isn't it? We're only intelligent enough to insult each other.

You know why this country's forefathers successfully defeated one of the greatest empires to ever exist? They got others' attention. They sparked new thoughts inside of evolving minds. They took all of their available resources and made something DIFFERENT with this country. They didn't look to duplicate an already crappy way of life.

How about we do that? Instead of duplicating the dirty streets of TJ, or the dangerous streets of the black ghettos, why don't we make something different here, and now? Let's put a dent in the rich man's publicity campaign.. make him spend a little to get rid of us. Let's be united and LOUD.. the media loves loud. How many nielsen boxes do lynwood's residents have? Let's get some rating power.

How do we convince the French to help us regain control of our little city? (For those who know little about history, I won't judge.. I'm using "French" in allegorical context).

I have been to Mexico recently and it is the same sh.t hole like Lynwood, Compton, South Gate, Huntington Park. Downey and Lakewood are on their way to be a sh.t hole to.
And would you know what nationality the majority of people living there are?
I don't have to tell you, you know who you are. The ones who will f..k up a city, the same way you f..ked up your country. That's why you here. You still have a better life in the above mentioned cities then where you came from. If you don't agree, do us a favor and GO BACK.
