Security Guard Arrested In Fatal Shooting Exonerated

Lynwood, CA - NBC 4 news reports that a Alejandro Noera, 37, "was exonerated and released" . Noera, a security guard, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and use of a firearm. Francisco Reza, 26 was found a victim gunshot at Atlantic and Fernwood avenues at 2:48 a.m. in "extremely critical condition". He was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lynwood Unified Removed from list Troubled Districts

Lynwood, CA - State education officials have reduced the number of California school districts identified as needing improvement, saying that a computer programming error put 49 districts that met standards on the list.

49 districts were removed and 15 were added. Lynwood Unified School District is no longer on the List of Districts that Need Improvement.
